The society needs technicians and investigators capable of making use of the resources that the Nature offers to the man in the forest and environmental ambience to manage them in a more reasonable way. To take to term this task, it were thought before these technicians that they had to obtain new varieties of plants, to obtain major yields, or to manage the forests to obtain better productions. Lately, the priority is based on the maintenance of the systems, as it is said at present, in his sustainability. This change forces to programme an education and forest investigation in the following fields:

• to keep forest ecosystems

• to preserve and to regenerate the places altered by the natural catastrophes  

• to support the rural development in the agro-forestry zones and the stability of his populations

• to support the species or groups of species of the ecosystems, without forgetting the productive aspects
